Marina Rodríguez is a screenwriter, director, and author. She trained in Fiction Screenwriting and specialized in Dialogue Creation (Showrunners, Barcelona) and Directing Actors (Escuela de Cine de Madrid, Laura Jou School). In 2021, she was a resident of the Spanish Film Academy – Goya Awards Residency.

Her directorial debut, co-directed with Carol Rodríguez and produced by Fasten Films, is set to premiere in 2025. In 2024, she contributed as a screenwriter to LOS AÑOS NUEVOS (directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen), which was selected for the Venice Film Festival. In 2023, her film RONDA premiered at the D’A Film Festival. That same year, she was awarded the BCN CREA screenwriting grant and selected for the Horizontes Cinema Residency in Marseille.

She also co-wrote CHAVALAS, which earned nominations at the Goya, Feroz, and Gaudí Awards, and won Best Screenplay at the Circle of Cinematographic Writers Awards. In 2020, she wrote LA VELLA LLUITA, a Gaudí Award candidate, and penned 11 episodes of BANY COMPARTIT (TVE 2). She also directed the documentary RAVAL, PLA DE FUGIDA, produced by Parallel 40 for TV3.

In 2025, she wrote and directed the feature film HERMANOS, alongside Carol Rodríguez. The film is currently awaiting its release.
