Patricia Ortega

INFORMATION

Patricia Ortega currently resides in Seville, Spain. She graduated from the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños EICTV (2003-2005) specializing in film directing. Her debut feature Yo, Imposible (Being Impossible) 2018, is a Colombian-Venezuelan co-production (Mandrágora Films / Antorcha Films). It was distributed in the United States by HBO and, was selected as a candidate for the 2019 Oscars representing Venezuela. Given her risky proposal in her first film, she directed in Spain her second film Mamacruz, starring Kiti Mánver, and selected for the Sundance Film Festival.
