Pablo Tébar, born in 1976, comes from a creative family—his mother is an actress, and his father is a screenwriter and writer. He began his career in 1995 as a screenwriter for Médico de Familia and has since contributed to popular TV series such as Periodistas, El Comisario, and Tierra de Lobos, among others. In 2001, he wrote and directed the short film Onán, which won awards at the Benicassim International Festival, among others.
He created and served as executive producer for the series Herederos and co-created Mar de Plástico. He also took on the role of executive producer for the fantasy series Diablero on Netflix. Teaming up with Jorge Valdano, he brought the series Pollos sin Cabeza for HBO through Pokeepsie Films. In 2017, his talent was recognized with the Minotauro Award for his debut novel, Nieve en Marte. He recently published another novel, Club de Juego, with Editorial Planeta.
Lately, Pablo has been busy writing 1992 for Pokeepsie Films on Netflix and creating and showrunning the series Bandidos, also for Netflix.
