Lucía G. Romero born in Barcelona, Spain in 1999. Due to an early interest in writing and consuming stories, at the age of 18 she obtained a full scholarship for ESCAC, the city’s film school from which she graduated with a master’s degree specializing in directing. Cura Sana, her graduation film, won the Crystal Bear for best short film in the young audience section of the Berlinale. The film is a personal portrait inspired by a family story, closely linked to its Cuban roots and full of political and social consciousness.
