INFORMATION

Ian de la Rosa, graduated in Film Direction from ESCAC, with their final degree short film, Víctor XX, winning an award at the Cinefondation section of the Cannes Film Festival in 2015.

In 2020, they worked as one of the screenwriters for the series Veneno for Atresmedia, directed by the Javis.

Their latest short film, Farrucas, premiered at the 2021 Málaga Film Festival and was nominated for the Goya Awards. It was also selected at various international festivals and received awards for Best Short Film at the Vila do Conde Festival in Portugal, AESCAN, Gaudí, Alcine, among others.

In 2023, they were part of the scriptwriting team for La chica invisible for Disney+ and directed several episodes of Vestidas de azul for Atresmedia.

Currently, they are developing the script for their first feature film, Una historia de amor entre Iván y Hadoum, and co-writing the film Las líneas discontinuas with director Anxos Fazáns. They are also a co-founder of the Artistic Residence “La Jacaranda,” located in Níjar, Almería.
