Elisabet Terri (Barcelona, 1982) is a filmmaker, screenwriter, actress, and producer whose career spans film, television, and theatre. After beginning her professional journey in the fashion industry and spending time in Milan, she moved to Madrid in 2005 to pursue acting, training at some of Spain’s most renowned drama schools, including Estudio Juan Carlos Corazza, Estudio Internacional del Actor, and Central de Cine.
In 2012, she co-founded the independent production company Imminent Produccions alongside filmmaker Jose Pozo. Since then, the company has produced numerous feature films, documentaries, and short films, while Terri has established herself as a distinctive creative voice, balancing her work behind the camera with a solid acting career.
As a director and screenwriter, Terri recently completed her first feature film, ELS DE SAU, a Catalan language musical biopic about the legendary rock band Sau. Written and directed by Terri and co produced by Som3Cat, the film traces the band’s journey from its beginnings to the tragic death of frontman Carles Sabater and is scheduled for release in late 2026.
Her work as a filmmaker also includes the short films NORIA, VESANIA, and LLANA NEGRA. The latter, starring Ingrid Rubio alongside Terri herself, received the Silver Biznaga Award for Best Fiction at the 2022 Málaga Film Festival in the Mujeres en Escena section. She has also written and directed several theatre productions.
As an actress, Terri continues to build an international career. She co-stars alongside Alberto Ammann in Jose Pozo’s feature film SKYE, an intimate road movie filmed between Andorra and Scotland that explores identity, motherhood, and personal transformation. Her recent screen work also includes the role of Marieta in EL FRED QUE CREMA, Maria José in 42 SEGUNDOS, and Nancy in the short film PLASTIC KILLER, which reached the shortlist for the 2023 Academy Awards.
On stage, she is one of the lead actresses in ABRAKADABRA, a production by the Escena Nacional d’Andorra.
Whether directing, writing, or performing, Elisabet Terri is drawn to emotionally driven stories centred on identity, human relationships, and transformation.
