David Martín de los Santos has recently directed three episodes in the Movistar + series, Los años nuevos (2024), and is currently preparing his next feature film, Un hombre en un puente, to be shot in 2025.
Previously, he wrote and directed the feature film La vida era eso (2021), recognized with two nominations at the Goya Awards and several awards, at the Feroz, CEC Awards, Academia de Andalucía and various international festivals.
He has also written and directed the documentaries ¿Generación perdida? (2011) and Ni vivos ni muertos (2010), for the program Documentos TV, as well as La isla durmiente (2005).
His short films 23 de mayo (2016), Mañana no es otro día (2015), En el hoyo (2006) and Llévame a otro sitio (2004) add up to more than a hundred awards at national and international festivals.
