Carol Rodríguez Colás is a film and television director born in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona).
In 2021 she premiered her first fiction feature film Chavalas in the Official Selection of the Malaga Festival. It won the Biznaga de Plata Audience Award, Best First Film ASECAN Award, Best Movistar + Film Award and was nominated for Best New Director and Best New Actress at the 2022 Goya Awards.
She has written and directed short films and documentaries and her latest work includes her short film La vella lluita with the support of the ICEC and the ICAA produced by Malmo Pictures and Alba Sotorra, S.L., nominated for the Gaudí Awards 2021, and the sitcom Bany compartit premiered on TVE in 2019.
He has also written and directed documentaries, such as Raval, plan de huída, produced by TV3.
She is currently preparing her second feature film as director and screenwriter, The Gang, which won the I HAVE A DREAM award, granted by European Women Audiovisuals (EWA) and has already received support from Movistar+, Ibermedia and the ICAA as the best rated project in the last call for entries in 2023.
