Colombian-Spaniard director, screenwriter and producer with training in film and television directing from the Escuela Superior de Artes y Espect\u00e1culos TAI Madrid, and experience in different fields of audiovisual production.<\/p>\n

He has directed more than 60 episodes of TV series, such as Cumbia Ninja<\/em><\/strong>, Kdabra<\/em><\/strong>, Tiempo Final<\/em><\/strong> and 2091<\/em><\/strong> for Fox Latam Network. He has also directed episodes of the series Sin Tetas No Hay Paraiso<\/em><\/strong> (Telecinco), Mentes en Shock<\/em><\/strong> (Fox) and Karabudjan<\/em><\/strong> (Antena 3) for the Spanish market and the telefilms El Gran Robo<\/em><\/strong> and Una Anomal\u00eda Perfecta<\/em><\/strong> and the documentary El Mexicano<\/em><\/strong> for RCN (Colombia).<\/p>\n

Bluff<\/em><\/strong>, his first feature film, premiered on March 23, 2007 in Colombia, becoming the most viewed Colombian film of that year. Bluff won the Audience Award at the Miami Film Festival and the Toronto Latino Festival, as well as being presented at the Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n

In 2012 he founded the production company Proyectil<\/strong> with which he produced the series Tali\u00f3n, Yo te llevo a Brasil<\/em> and the films Magallanes<\/em>, Doble<\/em> and Fortuna Lake<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In 2015 he directed for Dynamo the film Malcriados<\/em><\/strong>, and won one of the FDC Stimulus with his film Doble which he directed, co-wrote, and co-produced in 2016. It was released in October 2018 And its script was sold to Sony Pictures in 2023 to create a North American remake.<\/p>\n

In 2017 he directed, co-wrote and co-produced the horror film Fortuna Lake<\/em><\/strong> shot in La Cocha, in Nari\u00f1o, Colombia.<\/p>\n

In 2018 he produced and directed the teaser for Anah\u00ed<\/em><\/strong> for Sony, directed the pilot of the series La Justiciera<\/em><\/strong> for Telemundo, and with Dynamo he shot the series Historia de un Crimen: Colmenares<\/em><\/strong> for Netflix.<\/p>\n

In 2019, he shot the movie Loco por Vos<\/em><\/strong> for Dynamo, the series La Muchacha que Limpia<\/em><\/strong> for Turner \/ HBO in Mexico with the production company BTF and the movie Igualita a m<\/em><\/strong>\u00ed<\/em><\/strong> for Tondero in Peru.<\/p>\n

From January 2020 to March 2023, he worked as showrunner and director for the production company BTF in Mexico City, where he developed, produced, and directed the series El Repatriado<\/em><\/strong> for Star + \/ Disney + and El Mantequilla<\/em><\/strong> for Star +, where he also served as the head writer.<\/p>\n

Currently, he is writing the movie Topo Chico<\/em><\/strong> for Gato Grande \/ MGM, where he will also be the director.
