Carol Rodr\u00edguez Col\u00e1s is a film and television director born in Cornell\u00e0 de Llobregat (Barcelona).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2021 she premiered her first fiction feature film <\/span>Chavalas<\/i><\/b> in the Official Selection of the Malaga Festival. It won the Biznaga de Plata Audience Award, Best First Film ASECAN Award, Best Movistar + Film Award and was nominated for Best New Director and Best New Actress at the 2022 Goya Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n

She has written and directed short films and documentaries and her latest work includes her short film <\/span>La vella lluita<\/i><\/b> with the support of the ICEC and the ICAA produced by Malmo Pictures and Alba Sotorra, S.L., nominated for the Gaud\u00ed Awards 2021, and the sitcom <\/span>Bany compartit<\/i><\/b> premiered on TVE in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has also written and directed documentaries, such as <\/span>Raval<\/i><\/b>, plan de hu\u00edda, produced by TV3.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is currently preparing her second feature film as director and screenwriter, <\/span>The Gang<\/i><\/b>, which won the I HAVE A DREAM award, granted by European Women Audiovisuals (EWA) and has already received support from Movistar+, Ibermedia and the ICAA as the best rated project in the last call for entries in 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
