Born in San Sebasti\u00e1n, Aritz Moreno is a director and editor recognized by <\/span>Variety<\/span><\/i> as one of its <\/span>Spanish Talent on the Rise<\/span><\/i>. His short films have been selected for more than 500 film festivals worldwide and have received over 100 awards, including the M\u00e9li\u00e8s d\u2019Argent for Best European Fantastic Short Film, the Grand Jury Prize at the New York Shorts International Film Festival, and the Filminute 2011 Best Film Award.<\/span><\/p>\n

His feature film debut, <\/span>Advantages of Travelling by Train<\/i><\/b>, won the Feroz Award for Best Comedy Film and was nominated for Best European Comedy at the European Film Awards. The film also earned him nominations for Best New Director at the Goya Awards and Best Director at the Feroz Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2023, he directed the series <\/span>The Invisible Girl<\/i><\/b> for Disney+ and <\/span>Zorras<\/i><\/b> for Atresplayer. His second feature film, <\/span>Moscas<\/i><\/b>, premiered at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.
