Gonzalo Bendala is a producer, director and scriptwriter born in Seville (Spain) in 1978. In 2004, he founded, along with Marta Velasco, \u00c1RALAN FILMS, an enterprise with which he has developed most of his projects. The highlights of his directing career include the feature films Cuando los \u00e1ngeles duermen (2018) and Asesinos Inocentes (2015), which officially premiered at the Miami International Film Festival and had its national premiere at the Malaga XVIII Festival Official Section.<\/p>\n

He has directed other productions such as the stereoscopic stop-motion animation short film Penumbra 3D: el desafortunado reencuentro de Larry y Bird (pre-selected for the 2012 Goya Awards), the pilot episode of the comedy series Spain is different (2009), the fictional re-enactments of the documentary series Descubriendo a Col\u00f3n (2008) and La Guerra Civil en Andaluc\u00eda (2007), as well as the short films Feliz Navidad (2007), Penumbra (2006), D\u00edas Rojos (Best Spanish Short Film at the 2005 Toulouse Cinespa\u00f1a Festival) and El Orgullo (2002).<\/p>\n

As a producer, his most important projects are Qui\u00e9n te cantar\u00e1 (2018), directed by Carlos Vermut and Los ni\u00f1os salvajes (2012), directed by Patricia Ferreira, as well as the animated short film Spaghetti Western, in which he also served as scriptwriter and artistic director and which was nominated to the 2009 Goya Award.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
