Vicente Villanueva is a film director and screenwriter. His long career as a short filmmaker has earned him more than 150 awards at different festivals. His short films include El futuro est\u00e1 en el porno<\/em><\/strong> (2005), Heterosexuales y casados<\/em><\/strong> (2008), La rubia de pinos puente<\/em><\/strong> (2009), and Meeting with Sarah Jessica<\/em><\/strong> (2013).<\/p>\n

In 2011 he made his feature film debut with Lo contrario al amor<\/em><\/strong>, produced by Antena 3 and Zeta Audiovisual and starring Adriana Ugarte and Hugo Silva.<\/p>\n

In 2015 he released Nacida para ganar<\/em><\/strong>, produced by Tornasol Films and TVE and starring Alexandra Jim\u00e9nez, Cristina Casta\u00f1o and Victoria Abril.<\/p>\n

In 2017 he released Toc Toc<\/em><\/strong>, produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, Atresmedia and La Zona. Starring Paco Le\u00f3n, Rossy De Palma, Alexandra Jimenez, Oscar Martinez, Adri\u00e1n Lastra, Nuria Herrero and Inma Cuevas. In its theatrical run, the film was seen by more than 1 MILLION viewers.<\/p>\n

In 2018, he is directing four episodes of the TV series, Se\u00f1oras del (H)ampa<\/em><\/strong>, for Producciones Mandarina\/Mediaset and in 2019 another four episodes. Starring Toni Acosta, Malena Alterio, Mamen Garc\u00eda and Nuria Herrero.<\/p>\n

In 2020 he directs the film Sevillanas de Brooklyn<\/em><\/strong> produced by Capit\u00e1n Ara\u00f1a, Pecado Films and RTVE. Starring Carolina Yuste, Sergio Momo, Estefan\u00eda De Los Santos and Manolo Solo.<\/p>\n

In 2021 he directs the film El juego de las llaves<\/em><\/strong>, produced by Nadie Es Perfecto, Warner Bros. Pictures and Atresmedia. Starring Eva Ugarte, Ricard Farr\u00e9, Miren Ibarguren, Tamar Novas, Mar\u00eda Castro, Dani Tatay, Fernando Guallar and Justina Bustos.<\/p>\n

In 2022 he directs the second season of the series Supernormal<\/em><\/strong>, for Movistar, starring Miren Ibarguren and Diego Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n

In 2023 he premieres La ternura<\/em><\/strong>, Emma Su\u00e1rez plays Queen Esmeralda, and Alexandra Jim\u00e9nez and Anna Moliner, her daughters. On the male side, Gonzalo De Castro plays the father who, for 20 years, has been living with his offspring (Fernando Guallar and Carlos Cuevas) on a desert island, far from women.<\/p>\n
