Marina Seresesky is a director and screenwriter.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2012, she directed the short film <\/span>La boda<\/i><\/b>, which received a nomination at the Goya Awards in the Best Fiction Short Film category. The short film also garnered numerous national and international awards. Additionally, in the same year, she directed the documentary <\/span>Madres, 0’15 el minuto<\/i><\/b>, which received a Silver Biznaga at the 14th Festival de M\u00e1laga de Cine Espa\u00f1ol.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2016, she made her feature film debut with <\/span>La puerta abierta<\/i><\/b>, which was nominated for two Goya Awards. The film received more than 30 awards at various film festivals around the world, with notable wins including Best Screenplay at the FICG de Guadalajara (Mexico), Best Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Actress at the Festival de Cine de Alicante, Audience Award at the Transilvania International Film Festival (Romania), Best Screenplay and Audience Award at the Antalya International Film Festival (Turkey), and the Grand Jury European Award at the Mons International Film Festival (Belgium).<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2019, she released <\/span>Lo nunca visto<\/i><\/b>, a feature film in the fiction genre, starring Carmen Machi and Pep\u00f3n Nieto. The film achieved significant success at the box office. In 2023, she premiered the comedy feature film <\/span>Empieza el baile<\/i><\/b>, which won the Audience Award and the Silver Biznaga for Best Supporting Male Performance at the Festival de M\u00e1laga.<\/span><\/p>\n
