Julio Fraga has worked as: theatre director, film director, casting director, coach, actor, executive producer, performance teacher, etc… he has spent more than 25 years in the occupation and he has a huge experience at the audiovisual and dramatic field.
He has directed shows as: “COMBATIENTES”, “EL REY DE ALGECIRAS” of the Andalusian Center of Theatre, “DESPUÉS DE RICARDO” at the Canovas of Malaga Theater, “EL INDIANO” at the Muñoz Seca Theater in Puerto de Santa María, “JULIA, UN VIAJE TEATRÁSTICO” at the Center Theatre: Clasic Theater of Sevilla. As casting director he has worked with Benito Zambrano, Fernando Colomo, Chus Gutiérrez, Silvia Munt, Dácil Pérez de Guzmán, Antonio Cuadri, Pedro Costa, Álvaro de Armiñan, Luis Mariás, Carles Vila, Josetxo Sanmateo, among other people. As film director he has directed “ULISES”, “LOS SIETE PECADOS CAPITALES” and “MIRADOS” with the Culture Ministry of the Andalusia Board, “CUANDO LA LUNA BLANCA SE PIERDA” with the Social Affairs Ministry of the Andalusia Board, “LA ATOBIOGRAFÍA” and the web series “LA GRIETA” among others.
As performance teacher, he has worked at the Madrid’s Cinema Central, Aisge Andalucía, Escénica Andalucía, Remiendo Theatre School, School of Andalusian Cinematography, C.E.T, etc. He has different awards: Actors and Performers Union of Andalusia Award in 2010, RTVA Award for the best audiovisual production for “ULISES”, Audience Award for the best TV Movie for “EL CAMINO DE VÍCTOR”, Young Values of the European Cinema Award at the Mannheim film Festival, and Young Values of the XXI Century at the Expo’92.
