Cristian Beteta (Barcelona, Spain). He studied a Master’s Degree at ESCAC Film School in 2022, where he directed and produced the short films Until Forever and Imaginarium (2021), which were selected at festivals like Sitges Film Festival, Cortogenia, New Directors New Film Festival, Lille, Zaragoza, Elche among others. His Master’s final project, the short film Help Me (2022), has also had a great run in festivals and was a candidate for the Gaudí Awards. His short film My Zone (2023) was awarded and selected in festivals worldwide with great success, it also was in the shortlist Goya awards 2025. Dead Angle is his fifth short film as a director. Preselected in the Academy Awards 2026, in the shortlist of Goya Awards 2026 and nominated for the 2025 Premios FORQUÉ. He is currently working on his first feature film called MY ZONE, which is based on  his short film of the same name.
