Albatros González, writer, screenwriter, playwright, content analyst, workshop leader, and creative consultant with over thirty years of experience. His standout projects include Arrepentidos – El infierno de Montoya (NatGeo), winner of the 2015 Emmy Award for “Outstanding Non-English Language Primetime Program in the U.S.,” and Operación Pacífico (Telemundo), winner of the 2020 PRODU Award for “Best SuperSeries,” where he served as Head Writer and developed the original concept. He has contributed to writing teams for series such as Tiempo Final (FoxTelecolombia) and Lynch (MOVIECITY PREMIUM), and was Head Writer for La Mariposa and Contra el Tiempo (both FoxTelecolombia), the latter based on an unpublished novel of his own creation. In 2020, he wrote and directed his first short film, BANG.
Since 2021, he has been based in Spain, and in 2022 received the Best Series Award at Ventana CineMad in Madrid. Among his most recent work are the first season of Cien Años de Soledad (Netflix) and the feature film Valentina (Prime Video). He is currently developing a feature film script and an original series for the Spanish market.
He also teaches screenwriting at the Escuela de Cine y Audiovisual de Madrid (ECAM).
